Cloth Diapers Anyone?

It's my blog right?  So I can use it to ask this...

Anyone interested in some used cloth diapers?  I am getting them ready to list over on Diaper Swappers, but I hate listing them and then watching the post etc etc.  So I thought I would check around elsewhere first.  I've got a fairly large bin full of things that need new homes.  Included are newborn prefolds, infant prefolds, some one size diapers, some wool, fitted diapers - small and med, some fuzzi bunz, lots of covers - small and med, 2 pairs of baby legs, and a few misc accessories.  If you are interested in anything please send me an e-mail - gohncrazy at gmail dot com

Thank you.  :)

Mission #2 - Completed

Last week I shared with you my linen closet which was in desperate need of some organization.  It was a mess with everything just thrown on shelves in no particular order.  It frustrated me each and every time I needed to get something from within it.

But no longer!  After pictures anyone?

Pretty nice in comparison, huh?!  So let's take a closer look.

Working from the top shelves down -

I have the beach towels folded  and then a plastic bin which holds our sewing supplies.  It has finally upgraded from the Reebok sneaker box that my husband had when I met him.  We're movin' on up.  ;)

Next shelf  down I have a larger plastic bin holding lotions of both the body and the suntan persuasion. ;)  Along side that bin is the hot water bottle.  On the other side I have 3 small rectangular containers.  One holds all of the medicine droppers, thermometers, and miscilanious supplies like that.  The other has medicine - I'm suprised that we did not have more than would fit in one box.  Yay for that.  And the last box on that shelf holds extra toothbrushes, toothpaste, mouthwash.

Next shelf down is hand towels and in front of them wash clothes.  In the plastic bin beside the towels I have soaps and shampoos.  Next is first aide supplies.  And then propped along the wall is the electric heating pad and cotton balls.

After those comes the towel shelf.  And then on the bottom is all of the blankets and sheets.  I'm a bit of a packrat when it comes to those plastic bags that curtains, sheets, onsies, Robeez, etc come in.  I have a bag of just them.  I knew I kept them for a reason.  First is a giant bag of just blankets - a spare comforter, some apfgans, blankets.  We got the bag from the dry cleaner when we got our king comforter cleaned.  It's HUGE.  Then the other smaller bags are sorted by sets.  Works out quite nicely and it keeps them from getting dusty and whatnot as well.  :)

So there you have it.  My two main closets are now nicely organized and man does it feel good.  But fear not I have MANY other areas which need some TLC.  What's next?  The bathroom!

Here we are - I have ZERO organization to the counter/drawers/cabinet in our main bathroom.  It's terrible.  Again I feel almost ashamed to share, but I will because I know after this week it'll look so much better.  So until next week check out my mess...

I told you it was bad!

Haiku Friday - Missing my hubby

on his way home now

only to leave again soon

one down two to go

The Husband should be home within the next couple hours.  I'm so happy that he'll be home again.  We've all missed him this week.  K-Girl actually went down for nap without fighting me at all - no half dozen trips to the bathroom - no can I just have one more toy in bed with me - no screaming that makes you wish you didn't have ears.  It was easy.  Why can't every day be like that?  But alas I should bid farewell to my neat and tidy house.  I'm sure it will be in shambles by Monday.  But to have him around I guess I'll deal.  It'll give me something to do next week.  Right?

Mission #1 - Completed

Remember my closet?  Yes, I know.  It was bad!  But you all made me feel good by knowing that I'm not alone in my closet craziness.  However now, my dear friends, my closet is no longer a mess.  It's beautiful. BEAUTIFUL!

I'm not going to repost the before pictures - if you forget what it looked like check the original post.  Here's what I had to work with once the closet was emptied (and surrounding areas then a disaster area).

Not a bad space but the slope of the wall and the  depth of the area off to the left make it a hard space to fully utilize, but I think we did it.

After a trip to Home Depot we found this -

It was on sale for $39.99 I believe.  And the cat, well she refused to stay out of my way.  ;)  As a 5 shelf tall unit this would never work, but we thought if we used it in sections then we might be onto something.  So home it came.

And here is the closet now...

On the top shelf I have a long short plastic bin for all of our winter accessories - hats, gloves, mittens, scarves, etc.  All are nicely stored inside other than the two hats for the kids that they wear most every time we leave the house.  On top of this bin is also my daughter's sidewalk chalk.  To the left of that is the portable DVD player for the car.  To the right is another smaller plastic bin which contains all batteries, light bulbs, and flashlights.  On top of this bin is the battery powered lantern that is too big for the bin.  :)

I cleaned out all the unnecessary coats and then organized the remainder by whose coat they are.  On nails I have my purse, my daughter's bag for day visits, and her backpack.

Below the coats is a portion of the organizer.  On the top shelf we have winter boots, umbrellas, and the diaper bag.  Below that are paper products taken out of the packaging and arranged neatly.  Beautiful I tell ya! ;)

And now to the left -

I have the remaining 3 tiers of the organizer over here.  The bottom shelf and hardest to get to is home to my roasting pan, stock pot, a bin of cookie cutters, and a bowl.  Next shelf up is my veggie/fruit tray, ice pop maker, and all my ice cube trays for baby food.  I still have some extra room that I am sure to fill up once I make my way into the over stuffed kitchen cupboards and server.  ;)  The top shelf is my cleaning shelf umm and some drinky drinky too (most of which is really old and just needs pitched).  Any who.  I have my Swiffer products that have been around for a WHILE now since I don't really use them anymore.  Next is a small plastic bin to hold all my microfiber towels & omop cloths.  Next comes my cleaning caddy followed by extra cleaning supplies and my vacuum bags.

Other than on the shelves, I want to note that I have a few vacuum attachments on the floor between the two shelves, my step stool, and the dog food container.  Also since them I found that this is perfect now to house my vacuum which used to just sit in a corner in the upstairs hallway - sad huh?  So that's there and very easily accessible.  Perhaps now I'll vacuum more?  Ummm well we'll see.

But that's about it.  It's nice, huh?

Alright, tune in next week to see if I can tame the upstairs linen/medicine/everything-else-that-doesn't-have-a-home closet.  ;)

Here's the before... (and a fresh from nap lil' guy)

Weeeee.....

Haiku Friday - Time for a change

I'm so stinkin' shy

Nothing like I used to be

I miss that old me

I'm sure she's still here

Just waiting to have some fun

If I'd just let her

I need to suck up

Step out of my comfort zone

And try to find her

Spontaneity

It just isn't a strong point

I crave my routine

With having two kids

Naps and Preschool must happen

Leaves little time left

So, Hmmm... Where to start

Desperately need to change

Flexibility?

Works For Me Wednesday - Method omop

Here's another happy product review for Method.  By now you all know that I love me some Method.  For GREAT cleaners that are friendly to the environment and enjoyable to use go check out Method's products

Today I want to rave on the omop for a few minutes.

I just love this mop.  It first attracted me because it was a Method product.  Second it roped me in because I don't need to continuously run to the store to buy replacement pads that you chuck in the trash after each room (or two).  I decided to buy the starter kit and in that you get the mop itself, cleaning solution, and then you also get a microfiber cleaning pad to use with the solution and  these paper (compostable) sheets to dry mop.  Well since I don't compost...yet, I figured out that a microfiber bar towel works just as well for dry mopping.  I just take it outside and shake it off when I'm done, pick up the heavier debris that didn't stick, and then toss the towel in the laundry.  Likewise when it's time to wet mop you put the microfiber pad on that came with the mop and go to it.  When you're done you just throw the pad in the wash to be used the next time around.  You can reuse their dandy little pads up to about 50 washes or so until you should replace them.  How much better is that than Swiffer?? I'm in love.

We always want to know about price well look at this - a replacement pad for the omop is about $6.00 and you can use this up to about 50 washings.  If you use microfiber towels to dry mop they are just a couple dollars and they last forever (or at least a long long time).  On the other hand say Swiffer's replacement pads cost about $12.00 for 24 pads.  Right there is noticeable savings.  And the solution for Swiffer will run you about $5.75 and Method's is $6.00.  The starter kit for the omop?  About $30.00.  And for Swiffer's starter kit about $20.00 so you spend a little more in the beginning, but the omop definitely saves you money in the longer run.

Now also the design is quite nice.  The omop's handle is curved.  In this way it takes less force to get some of those harder to get up marks up off the floor and you can also flip it and it goes under furniture very well.  Another thing I like is that the head is completely swivalable (yeah nice job making up my own word there again).  I never have to pick up the mop to resituate it like other mops.

If you are looking for a wet/dry mop or you are an owner of one of those Swiffers or other another wasteful mop head to Method and check out their omop.  I'm sure that you will find the love too...and end up saving yourself some cash since you won't have to continuously replace the pads.

The Method omop works for me!  Head over to Rocks In My Dryer's Works For Me Wednesday to find out what everyone else is raving about.

Ode to a vacuum

I don't like you much, but yet you get the job done.  I constantly torment you with threats of a Dyson.  It's not that I think I would actually vacuum then.  Well maybe I would, at least until novelty wore off.  I really must stop standing you up when I walk by and tell you, "I'll be back in 5".  Yeah if only that were true.  I have the best intentions, but the kids are stressing me out.  I'm tired and sick of playing board games only to be told halfway into it that she quits.  It's not fair you know?  I was winning.  The boy is teething and is fighting sleep more than normal.  "Maybe later" I mutter as I pass you by on the way to the couch, computer in hand.  Perhaps a Roomba is what I should fantasizing about.

And you will be my accountability partners...

I've been commenting here and there about tackling our trouble spots and getting things organized for some time.  I think now is as good a time of any to get started.  What I've decided to do with this is that at the beginning of each week (I haven't settled on exactly which day yet so I'll leave that vague) I will post a project that I plan on tackling that week.  I am going to include a photo of said project before getting started.  I will have one week (or sometimes longer depending on how big the project may be) to complete this project.  I will then post an after photo and details about what I did to get from before to after.

To start this off I'm going to take on our coat/everything-that-doesn't-have-a-home closet.  I'm almost embarrassed to post these, but it'll just make the after that much better, right?  I hope.  :)  The problem with this closet is the fact that I have too much different stuff to store and this is the only place in which to do that.  Then on top of all the stuff, the closet has so much wasted space.  It's an awkward shape (under the stairs) and hard to really utilize what there is.  So even when you do break down and clean it out it seems to take merely days for the closet to be in this shape once again.  So with that I'll share the pictures and then I'll see you next week with my results.

Wish me luck....

...lots and lots of luck.  ;)

Haiku Friday: Update O.F.M.H.

I enjoy reading the Haiku Fridays that everyone does so I figured this week I'd try it out. So here is my first edition as an update on Operation Free My Heiny. Yeah it's going that well.

I think I may cry.
The boy refuses to stay
asleep in his bed.

It's just not a nap
if it's less than one hour.
He needs more than that.

I offer the boob
almost crawling in the crib.
He knows my intent;

bring on hysterics!
I fear waking his sister.
I bring him downstairs.

No lesson is learned.
The heiny is still firmly
attached to the couch.

Try and try again.
Someday he'll sleep in his bed...

...before he's sixteen.

Tagged!

Amy tagged me to list seven things about me that you may or may not know.

1. I don't really know how to take a compliment. I'll take one on something that I accomplished better than something about me personally.

2. I designed my tattoo and I'm just dying to get work done on it as I need to add E-Man to it. Perhaps for my birthday...

3. I hate bodily fluids and I fear (really really fear) the first time that my daughter catches a stomach bug. I've been blessed that she's made it 3 1/2 years without ever really throwing up.

4. I don't like sharing food - even with my own children - if it means that their spit might be on it.

5. I'm super bummed that I won't be going to see Ani DiFranco this time around when she comes to the area on tour as my husband won't be here and even if he was home I don't think I could leave my son for that long. Hopefully she'll be back when he decides that other people are enjoyable as well. I've seen her twice and she's just amazing live! If she's coming to a venue near you check her out!

6. My diaper bag must be in order (my order) or I get all bent out of shape. My poor husband gets told about this almost every time he goes to get it ready to leave. Ya know, he's a really good guy to put up with all my idiocies.

7. My mood can be directly influenced by the state that the house is in. If it's in good order I have the best shot at a good day.

Alright that was challenging for some reason. I'm tagging Jen, Dana, Hot Librarian and anyone else that would like to participate. :) If you opt out I'll still like you.

And you thought I was mature!

When my daughter is finished eating her dinner she stands up on her chair and yells in her little sing-songy preschooler voice, "I'm all done-us!" I'm not at all sure where the little "us" at the end of done came from, but every single time she says it I can't help but laugh as to my ears she is yelling out "I'm a dumbass!" Hahaha.

Sorry. I'll go resume acting more my age now. ;)

Works For Me Wednesday - Backwards Edition

Happy Wednesday everyone!! And that means it's Works For Me Wednesday - and a Backwards Edition to boot! And I'm taking total advantage of that!

Here in the Gohn household we have embarked on Operation Free My Heiny. We had this thought that maybe E-Man would sleep better if we moved his crib into our room. So last night we did it and his crib is now side-caring our bed. Last night instead of his normal 45 minutes of sleep before he woke up initially it was about 2.5 hours. I would say much improvement. However he did still wake and I could not get him right back down to bed so he came down to join me on the couch.

So we have been using lavender lotion at night (haven't noticed if it has made any difference but he smells good). I've started reading The No Cry Sleep Solution (which I just finished making his sleep logs so now I'm working my way through the next chapter). My problem is not getting him to sleep initially as that is cake. My problem is keeping him asleep and then when he wakes I can NOT get him back to sleep in his crib so I end up holding him on my lap on the couch. I thought that putting the crib in our room would change that but after he wakes up he will not go back to his crib.

This is my question to you...

If you have any input on this situation at all that would be great, but specifically I want to know what you do to get your baby back down to sleep in his crib after he wakes. It's not as big of a deal in the middle of the night as I do enjoy cosleeping, but in that window of time after he goes to bed but before I go to bed I wish I could just get him either sleeping through or at least going back to sleep in his crib when he wakes. I nurse him but as soon as I go to lay him back in the crib he wakes and is hysterical...sometimes hysterical to the point that he refuses to nurse and just cries no matter what I do.

I know that was all long-winded, but here's hoping someone might be able to help. I do appreciate it.

Husband for Rent?

I knew it was coming, after all this is a regionals year. I know that term means nothing to you, but a short explanation - every other year my husband has to travel for a large just about two week long seminar and on the off years they have regionals. Regionals are a smaller to do but they do maybe 4 of them instead of the one large one. Each of the regional seminars takes him away for up to a week at a time. No fun. It's been this way since I met him so you would think that I would get used to it and I have to a point, but it doesn't mean that I have to like it any. Right? Right.

So this is a regionals year and tonight I learned just what that means to me this time around. It basically means that I am without a husband more than I have one until mid-February. How wonderful. I know that he hates it just as much as I do and in no way do I want to guilt him about it, but man I hate regionals. I used to have my best friend come be my stand in husband, but she went and grew up - got a job and her own place and now a boyfriend of her own. How dare she?! ;) So these days I'm left to fend for myself. Thankfully it's times like these that I'm happy we have Molly (the dog). She's a pain at times and makes me want to find her a new address more often than not, but she gives me a definite sense of security when The Husband is away and for that I'm grateful for bark-at-everything-that-gets-within-seeing-distance-of-the-house self. She's actually the product of The Husband's first regionals after we had moved in together. It worked out well for him to get a new puppy and take off and leave me to do the puppy training.

It got me thinking though. It would be a nice business to rent out husbands for such times. I'm not talking any funny business either. Just someone to come over for dinner and conversation. Someone to play with and entertain the kids for a bit as a change of scenery from good ole mom. Someone to help with the housework when I didn't quite get everything done that day. Or well even if they had a low budget model that just came over for moral support. Yep that would be nice.

Chaos

The house is in total disarray. This must change. The holidays have been like one giant bomb going off in this house. It really hasn't been the same since before they started. And I'm not talking just things you can see either, because honestly superficially it won't take long to get it put back in order. It's the closets, drawers, cupboards, spare bedroom, basement, etc that are the worst. You know, those places that guests don't see.

Tomorrow things return back to routine. It hasn't been routine for about a month so it's going to take a bit to get back into the groove, but it's back to preschool without any major breaks coming up and it's back to work for my husband which means it's back to work for me (because even though I don't leave the house I definitely have work to do that has been skimped on here lately). The Husband's been out of the office since December 7th. It's been a long while. K-Girl started back to preschool Friday. With working on E-Man's sleep a routine it is more important than ever. I'm really crossing my fingers that working on his sleep some how will gain me two good naps and I will be able to really make magic around this house.

So many projects so little time.

Don't you hate that? Right now swimming around my brain are more projects than I could possibly tackle at one time. I mean seriously they are probably enough to last me all of 2008. But that's just the way I work. I'm trying to figure out the perfect color to paint the family room. There's trying to get my son to sleep. We've got organization out the ying yang. I would LOVE to get back to scrapping. And in order to make the former possible the spare bedroom needs cleaned out...again.

I find that we have this terrible habit of using something or doing something and not putting it away correctly. I believe the chaos in the house all stems from that. I mean I know that's how the coat closet works so really it's probably how the rest of the house works as well. I'm not one for new years resolutions, but perhaps my husband and I should resolve to take more time to put things back correctly when we are done using them from coats to the closet, tools in the correct storage bins, Tupperware in the right spot rather than just shoved in cupboard, all those little things.

Yes that would be a good resolution.

More order. Less chaos. That would make one very happy little ole me.

Update: Operation Free My Heiny

I want to thank you all for the advice that I have gotten so far. If you have anything else PLEASE leave a comment and let me know. I'm definitely open for suggestions still. :)

So I thought I would let you know what I'm planning right now. I've heard of The No-Cry Sleep Solution by Elizabeth Pantley before but I decided that now is the time to actually see what she has to say. Tonight I ventured to Borders...all by myself. Yay! I found it and browsed through it and it looks like it's just what the doctor ordered. We'll see if I can work my way through it pretty quickly. I'm excited about it.

My mom also offered advice of lavender so off to Bath and Body Works I went this morning after picking K-Girl up from preschool. I got this body lotion that the lady said was "sure to do the trick". ...we'll see. I rubbed it all over his chest and shoulders tonight before bed. He smells yummy. He went to bed easily (which is typically his norm) but woke up an hour and 15 minutes later. This time rather than bringing him down I decided to try to nurse him back down and well it worked for a change. We'll see how long he stays asleep this time.

So we'll see what happens and I'll update on how Operation Free My Heiny is going and if you happen to have any new ideas please by all means do share.

Please free me from the couch!

So how do you spend your evenings after the kids are in bed?

This is my typical position.

Now this wouldn't be bad other than the fact that well I can't really move - I can't finish up any miscellaneous housework left over from the day - I can't get up to pee and bending over to even get my glass from the coffee table may disturb his sleep. Oh and that nightly coffee that I was enjoying, well yeah that's gone out the window as well for fear of spilling any on him. It's a joy.

I need help.

Just so we're on the same page here - I enjoy coSLEEPING. We had been in this groove where I put him down to bed in his crib (in his room) around 7:30pm and then he would wake up around 1:00am and I couldn't get him back to sleep in the crib so I would bring him over to bed. It was working out really well as he would sleep great with us and I could get a full night's sleep as well. I had no complaints at all. Then it started working its way back further and further to 11pm and now it's a mere 45 minutes-ish from when he goes to bed where he wakes up. And I used to be able to pet his head and soothe him back to sleep that way as well. I could get him back to sleep once with that method - long enough for him to go back to sleep till I was also in bed or ready to go to bed at least. Now he knows my ways and he will pull my hand away from his head every time and just scream. He used to also suck his thumb up until the past month or two where he will no longer take his thumb. He's never taken a pacifier and I've tried periodically up till this week to get him to take it. But the only pacifiers that the boy is interested in are the ones that the good Lord gave his Momma. No imitations will do.

So really my problem here is the time from putting him down to bed (7:00 - 7:30) up until the time I go to bed (11ish). If I could just get him sleeping on his own for these few hours my life would be blissful again. However, I'm stuck. I have no idea what to do.

I want to give you the most info to go on with the advice so - he's 7 months old. I will not do cry it out. I have 3 cats and a dog so I must have the room that he's in blocked off so that no animals have access to him. Oh and I nurse him down at night as he doesn't like being rocked or any other things I have tried to get him to fall asleep otherwise.

Ok so go ahead and share some advice with me so that I might actually be able to remove my heiny from this couch in the evenings. I will be checking in and responding to comments here and e-mailing if you have that enabled.

Thank you all for your input in advance!

Happy New Year!

I hope all of you have had wonderful holidays. I'm back! Holidays were great and fun for all. I've got a lot to report on, questions to ask, pictures to share. I'm feeling chatty so I'm thinking that January will be another good month for all of you that have missed me. ;) I've missed you too. I've missed sitting here and writing about whatever struck me. So here I am and I'm going to get this puppy back on track.

So where to start...

General update perhaps? Sure why not.

So my summary of December goes a bit like this...

In this month my precious baby boy has gone from sleeping sometimes in his crib to almost not at all. It's been a joy. Future post to come desperately seeking suggestions in this area, but I thought it rude to show up after almost a month of no posts only to ask for help. So I'll put that all together maybe for next time. ;)

He also is all about food now and gets down right MAD if I am eating something and I don't share. We started to introduce a bit more texture and Rice Krispies. He's not sure about the Rice Krispies. For New Year's Eve I made Snitz and Knepp and he had some of that in a safe feeder and then today we had pork and sauerkraut and he had some of that in it. He was all about it. On Christmas he was sporting two different ones - one with ham and the other with biscuit. The only down side to these things is that you have to scoop out the remainder of the food, but honestly it's a small price to pay for being able to enjoy a warm meal.

Otherwise everything else is pretty much the same with him. He's a pro sitter now, but no signs still of doing the whole crawling thing...which I'm still very ok with. I'm in no rush to have to start chasing him around too much.

K-Girl's sick at the moment with a cold. We had her at the doctors for it to make sure that it was nothing more serious. He said she looks great otherwise - lungs were completely clear so it's just something that has to run it's course. I feel bad for her as the area under her nose is soooo red and sore looking. She's a Vaseline-aholic right now. This evening as I was cleaning up dinner she came in asking me for gasoline. I thought she was pretending to be a car or something until my husband told me she wanted Vaseline. *L* It's that darn "V" that always gives her problems.

But my little girl is turning into such a big girl here lately. We had a big girl celebration the other night. She had this Dora potty seat which was fine and dandy but our house was the only place she would use one of them. At school and visiting family and friends she was fine not using one so we wanted it gone from our house as well. Both The Husband and I both despise the mess it makes. *cringe* So we had K-Girl take it out to the big dumpster and say "I'm a big girl now I don't need this anymore" and throw it away. Then we all came inside and enjoyed some ice cream sandwich ice cream. And that was that. Good-Bye nasty Dora seat and your ring of pee on my toilet seat. I will not miss you.

She also now goes to the bathroom all by herself. This started I believe in Canada. She started slamming the door on The Husband and yelling at him that she could do it herself. So now other than wiping her after a #2 she's totally self sufficient in the bathroom.

After dinner she likes to run to the bathroom to wash her hands and clean herself up. Oh and she decided she no longer needs her booster seat at the kitchen table. She dresses herself now to the point that if she does not like what I want her to wear she will either refuse it or just change when I'm not looking. Joy of joys. And my child has a terrible taste in clothing. It never fails that she will pick out my LEAST favorite outfit in the closet to wear each and every time as soon as it is washed she will get it right away again. ~sigh~ And I like to think I have pretty good taste when dressing her, but I digress.

But for K-Girl December has just been a huge month with maturing and becoming more independent. It's sad in a way to see my little girl growing up, but it's fun to watch and it's nice in that same way that she doesn't need so much help with every little thing.

News for the husband this month is that he did the deed and got the big snip snip done. Yay The Husband! So yes we are officially done with growing our family. Well unless the Lord has other plans, but as much as we are concerned we are finished. He got it done really quickly. He had the consultation on Christmas Eve and they scheduled him Friday the 28th for insurance purposes. I really dislike our insurance. It's insane. Just because of the deductible and whatnot if he did it before the new year it was going to cost us $130 something and if he had waited till after the new year it would have cost $700 something. It's just crazy. So we're just happy they were able to get him in so quickly.

And for some reason it's hard for me to come up with anything when talking about myself. Why is that?

The Husband had to go to Canada for work December 9 - 15th so we decided to come up on the back side of that and meet my sister and her family for a visit. My mom, the kids, and I drove up the 14th and stayed till the 17th. It was a great visit to get to see them. It's been just over a year since we saw them last time. We decided not to go all the way to where they live as it would have been a few hours more travel and we instead stayed in a hotel for the long weekend. It was an extremely long ride with the kids. It would take the normal person about 7 hours and it took us over 9 I believe. Just a long long trek. And of course like pretty much every visit there was a huge snow storm. This one was so bad that we could not leave the hotel on Sunday. Luckily we did splurge on the kitchenette room and were able to cook and whatnot right in our room. So it was alright and we just hung out and enjoyed each other.

Then the day we left I got to swing over to meet Amy the maker of BayBee diapers to save on shipping and pick up my order. If you cloth diaper or are thinking of it you MUST check out BayBees! They are amazing diapers. I now have 9 of her One Size, 4 of the AIOs, and 5 covers as well. Just amazing quality and she's just wonderful to work with. Very very sweet.

So other than that I guess I've just been busy being Mom and making sure everything around here has been running smoothly...or well as smoothly as it can.

It's good to be back. :)
