The family whose biggest puke issues have been their cat who likes to sneak dairy and then remembers it does not tolerate dairy has had it coming to them.

This morning K-Girl threw up twice - one after a bite of cereal, second after some muffin tops. Both times she seemed absolutely herself otherwise so we figured sour stomach or something. We went on with our day.
After nap time we decided to head down and check out a local consignment store that we had heard a lot of good things about. Well we did find a few things for K-Girl, but as we were browsing E-Man began to cough...and cough...and cough. I got worried knowing his gag reflex. And then it happened...
You know that moment that you wish you could just hide.
The kid threw up all over himself and the floor. Thank GOODNESS that it was a hardwood floor and they gave me paper towels and cleaner.
We then headed over to the boys section and were lucky enough to find a really nice Gap spring jacket (for $5.99!). Very nice since he was without coat due to before-mentioned incident.
Later we headed to Target and then to Denny's for dinner. While waiting for our dinner E-Man started coughing again and sure enough he gagged himself. At that point it was only a tiny bit and it was plain to see that he knew what he was doing and initiating it a bit himself. But then he got us good on the way home.
FIVE puke incidents today. FIVE. Isn't that too many? Isn't there a rule? For two kids that really are acting completely normal and healthy to have five pukes between them. I'm done with bodily fluids for today.

yes, we are quite sick of it too. thank God, we have never had the sick in the store experience yet.

we have three extended family members with stomach flu, right now, so unfortunately, i'm just waiting for it to happen!
oh good lord! I'm sorry! You seem like such a trooper though. It cracks me up that you just kept moving on and getting done what needed done, i'd have done the same thing.

Boo to that employee, though, who gave you towels and cleaner. One would think she would have insisted on cleaning it up herself. Instead she leaves you to deal with a sick kiddo and has you clean up her floor as well. Boooooooooo. >:(
*LOL* Trace - I really insisted. I hate puke. I'd never dream of asking someone else to clean up my kids' puke. I requested the towels and cleaner. ;)
