For suburbia we sure have a lot of wildlife around here. These are my favorite neighbors right now (especially since they don't drive Hummers).
These are red-tailed hawks (I think). They have nested in one of our big trees in the back yard. It's neat to have them around. There's a larger one and a smaller one - I'm guessing the male and female. They are typically somewhere close. The one day one of them was actually sitting on our swing set right out back.
Other than our hawk friends we currently have a huge groundhog living under our back-side neighbor's pool, but he stays to himself so isn't a big deal. Roomies with the groundhog is a racoon, at least I guess that's where they both live. Racoon is a pain in the butt as our dog, Molly, just wants to go out and play...or possibly eat it. ;) It was down on our porch the other night. Luckily he seems to run away or stay at a safe distance as soon as we are around. Add to that our plentiful squirrels and bunnies and it's like Wild America in our back yard.

How cool! I miss the widlife we had out in the suburbs. We do have a robin currently, though, who seems to be sticking around.
wow I love the owl picture. the owl looks really big you don't really see them to much where I live
Red tail hawks in my neck of the woods drive Hummers. :)
I love it when we have a bit-o-wildlife in our yard too - that is so neat. Happy Easter to you and your fam!

WOW! Keep those small dogs in. :)

Here’s my photo story happy Friday!
Oh VERY cool!
I love birds of prey -- we have several bald eagles that nest near our home in the winter. I never get tired of seeing them.
Hawks are so beautiful to watch sometimes. We just have a gazillion squirrels running all over the place.
Very cool. my kids would sit and watch that bird for a long time I think!
How cool! The hawks that is, not the pesky raccoon and groundhog!
Wow! Those are some amazing shots. It's so rare to catch them like that. Very cool you have them so close.
Sweet and you got such great shots too!
We have some baby birds that have taken up residence in a folding chair.
