Flutterby Butterfly

At the end of June we went on a field trip with my playgroup to a Butterfly House. It was such a neat place. The entire children's gardens were neat, but the butterfly house especially was not to be missed. I'm not a photographer by any means, but here are some of the gorgeous little butterflies we saw...

I sadly couldn't get close enough to this next flower to get a decent picture, but it was so neat to see so many butterflies trying to get on the same flower. Must have been on special flower.

This was perhaps my favorite of all the butterflies I saw. The light blue in the wings was such a pretty color. Yes, I think this was probably my favorite.

The other thing I liked was this orange butterfly up against the orange flowers. There's something about the combination that I think is absolutely stunning.

And like I said there was other fun things to do in the garden, like dancing with a pig...

and of course finishing with an ice cream cone...
