Ode to Honey

About a year and a half ago now, while visiting Canada, K-Girl and E-Man picked out Webkins. At that point I never would have imagined that K-Girl's "Honey" would become as important to her as she has. The main reason of doubt was the fact that Honey is a cat. K-Girl is typically all about the puppies. Honey was our only kitty in her collection for quite some time, but something has made her very special to K-Girl. Last month we went to dinner at a Cracker Barrel and wouldn't you know that in their display of Webkins they had another Honey. Honestly, we had searched for another Honey for a while because we thought what would happen should she ever get misplaced. So of course after K-Girl asked we did let her get another Honey. I think it's probably good to have a backup, especially with Honey's current condition. She's well-loved. She's made her way into a LOT of pictures, most notably our family pictures this past winter, and even made her way onto the school bus past me on the first day of kindergarten.

So as we all are so used to seeing Honey on a day to day I must say that it is totally and utterly amazing to see the difference between the new one (named Bunny - haha they rhyme) and the original Honey. You ready? Remember this is a year and a half of loving...

I prefer the "loved" look that Honey has! How adorable!

My oldest has a Ty teddy that he slept with for (shhh...) 15 years. Curly now has passed to Hunter, and the poor thing is sooooo smooshy and squooshy. She is very loved.
