Surprisingly, finishing up the Chihuahua last night didn't take all that long. I was able to have him done around 11:00 so that I could give him to K-Girl this morning. I thought that as compared to the pattern picture (check it out in the previous post) that he looked kind of goofy. But the facebook consensus says he's cute, and most importantly K-Girl LOVES her "chiwala". Try as she might she cannot pronounce chihuahua. Instead it comes out chiwala. It cracks me up and I even caught myself call it a chiwala this morning.
Here's it is all finished -
He's even bumped the duck from K-Girl's backpack. She always takes along a tiny stuffy for their rest time and for the past month or so it's been this duck that rides around with just his head sticking out of the backpack pocket. This morning duck sat on the table and Chiwala was placed in the pocket.
