365 - Week Five

DAY 29

Day029of365

K-Girl lost her first tooth. It was quite the traumatic experience for her. You can check out the whole post here.

DAY 30

Day030of365

I've lost count of how many rounds of Guess Who we have played in the last week. K-Girl loves this game (and so do I). I remember playing it when I was her age-ish. "Does your person have a mustache?"

DAY 31

Day031of365

This is my current blanket of choice. I can't sleep well at night unless the bed covers are heavy. I like the weight. We had to take our other blanket off to get washed and I decided to throw this afghan on top instead. My grandma made this and I'm intrigued by it. I'm still trying to figure out how she did it. It's crazy colors, very random, obvious that she used last bits of whatever she had around to make it. I think I'm too OCD to make something so mismatched, but I still love this blanket.

DAY 32

Day032of365

Waiting at the bus stop for K-Girl to get home.

DAY 33

Day033of365

The Princess and The Frog finally came to the cheap theater so K-Girl and I just had to go. I will say that this is my favorite Disney movie that they have made in several years. Very cute.

DAY 34
Day034of365

I broke the rules to get this picture and got my friend scolded in result. That's Ani DiFranco down there. This is the first time she's played York and it was awesome to get to see her without having to drive 2+ hours away. This was the 6th time I've gotten to see her preform. She's amazing! I went with The Husband and my best friend and her boyfriend.

DAY 35

Day035of365

Eggs from market. These eggs make me happy. :) It's nice to know where they came from, that they are cage free - truly, fed organically, and are a whole a lot happier chickens than the ones that grocery store eggs come from.

That afghan looks so warm and cozy! I have crocheted many myself, and they always inspire me with the love, warmth and hours of work put into them!

When you lose your tooth, it is a special day! I remember playing that game many times, it is a fun one. And I love, love, love your eggs!!!

I do like Guess Who. Guess Where's not bad either. I really liked the Princess and the Frog too. I agree it's the best they've done in a long time.

My girls and I loved The Princess and the Frog too. I love Ani DiFranco and cage free eggs. Both are signs of great tastes. ;-)

I like to have heavy blankets too. I also really liked the Princess and the Frog. I was happy it wasn't about the main character trying to find her prince, per se. I always wonder how to get eggs like that. I see signs farm fresh eggs in people's yards, but just cannot bring myself to knock on the door and say "hey how bout some eggs?"

Woo hoo for Ani DiFranco!! I have seen her twice in the last year up here in Minneapolis. She completely rocked it the last show at First Avenue. SO fun. :)

And yayy for the eggs! Love those.

Love the picture of the blanket, gorgeous! and I love the eggs (and a good reminder to us.. it does matter where they come from!)

Oh, and I love your perspective shot of the bus stop.. very creative!

I love how you're expanding your vision. The perspective on the street sign (and the eggs, for that matter) is fantastic. And as for the heavy blanket - -AMEN! I can't sleep unless I'm being crushed.

As for the teeth -- until my kids started losing their teeth, I never realized how creepy it was to have all these little kids running around with their teeth falling out. :)

Great week Kelli!

Oh - I can't wait for my kids to be able to play Guess Who! I LOVED that game. I think El (4.5) might actually be ready. Maybe.

I agree. I'd be too OCD too!

Now I need to see Princess in the Frog. I see a date night coming up!

Rule breaker.

Oh, I'm a blanket lover too. And she looks pretty happy the tooth is out despite the experience involved. We're still waiting for our first tooth.
I love you photos...

My daughter loves cloths diapers, too! And it was so cool to know that you love happy chickens, too! My hubby and I own a fruit farm in Northern Utah and have sold another daughter's fresh farm eggs, along with our fruits, berries, and produce at the Farmers Markets for years. Nothin' like farmin'. We love it!

Thanks for coming by my blog and checking it out. I just joined up with project 365 and love it!

Oh, how I love the way this project helps us write and capture a little bit of our history everyday!!

I don't know what it is about the shot but I REALLY like the bus stop shot. It just appeals to me. :)
