Pretty much sums it up. The Husband turned 37. We celebrated with a Dairy Queen Blizzard ice cream cake and presents. A very nice evening. :)
This was my delicious Bean Curd Szechuan Style that I got from our favorite Chinese restaurant. It was DELICIOUS! Definitely my favorite form of tofu so far. I blogged about this on my Tofu Tuesday, but I discovered the next day that this was the ONLY picture I took this day so it's making a second appearance. At least I didn't miss a day.
Taking pictures for my Etsy shop, Whimsical Stitches. This was a reject from the day of one of my granny square headbands, but I loved it too much to let it go completely.
E-Man and I went to the kiddie gym with playgroup this morning. E-Man's favorite thing is the trampoline. Trying to get a picture of midjump while trying to insure he did not jump off the edge was a tricky task, but luckily I got it and he didn't fall on his head.
I could have titled this week food and Etsy.
I took over 200 pictures today for my shop. By the time I was done with that I really wasn't feeling like scouting out another picture. So I decided to use another picture that didn't make the cut for today. Love this picture of my coordinating small reusable bags.
K-Girl and E-Man had a dentist appointment this morning. It was the first time E-Man has had his teeth looked at by the dentist. I was nervous but he did a fantastic job. The dentist said that maybe one in every fifty 2 year olds sit as well as he did. I was amazed. And what's better is that both kids' teeth looked perfect. Yay for good dentist visits.
There's a head on my seat. I've been looking for a head to use rather than my own for modeling hats and headbands for my store. I was thrilled to find out that Pier 1 sells recycled glass heads that are actually adult sized for just $20.00. I'm quite excited over my new head. Now all I need is a sunny day so I have lighting to take a few pictures. Weee!!

All right, you've almost convinced me I should try tofu. Almost. That looks amazing.
I'm trying not to ponder too much "recycled heads". Hmmm....
Great job on the dentist. I try not to interfere, and I haven't said much, but it really bothers me that my 4 year old grandson has yet to see a dentist. *sigh*
love that fabric!
Kaye-the road goes ever ever on
I'm waiting for dinner, so I'm hungry, and seeing that cake is totally making me drool! YUM!
love the fabric for the bags.
I really have to get the girl to the dentist, I think she has a bad tooth.
Count me in with the rest of the fabric lovers. It's gorgeous! So, tell me--did you feel awkward taking a picture at the dentist, because I always feel embarrassed by it. LOL
OH man that birthday "cake" sounds good. I want one of those for mine!!
Congrats on your Etsy shop! :)
Love the colors for day 68! So pretty.
I seriously need to take my oldest for his first dentist visit!
It's a good thing you went with one candle on that cake -- thirty seven would have melted it. :) Trust me -- I turned thirty seven in October, and my family put all of the candles on there. It blazed up like the wreck of the Hindenberg.
I love that dentist shot -- a great life moment. But why is every kid I see in a dentist chair lately wearing sunglasses? Did I miss the latest issue of Dental Vogue?
You have an eye for fabric! Fun choice.
I can't make it past the DQ blizzard cake....
okay, maybe I can. That fabric is awesome.
Okay, that tofu looks super delicious and your crocheting is adorable. I should really learn to do both - I think the tofu attempt will come first.
I love the fabric.
Now I NEED Chinese food.
Gotta make a dentist appointment.
GREAT shots for the week!! :)
The glass head completely cracks me up! ha!
Love all of your etsy stuff!!
The glass head is cracking me up! Looks like a great week in pictures :)
That fabric is gorgeous! I'm in awe of the headband -- my "fiber art activities" (aka knitting) haven't gone very well.
Btw, I've moved to Wordpress! http://followinginmyshoes.com
